Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus
From €150 · 10:00 – 19:00
The Bosphorus property occupies a restored 19th-century Atik Pasha mansion at the water’s edge in Kuruçeşme — one of two Four Seasons in Istanbul, and the one to choose if the day is meant to be spent looking at boats. The pool sits behind the mansion’s stone wall, quiet enough that the loudest sound is usually the bridge traffic carrying west across the strait.
The spa is the day-pass anchor here. A Sultan Suite spa journey is reported to run around €420 per couple — three hours of hammam, scrub, and massage in a private marble suite with its own steam room — but a more modest pool-and-spa pass starts in the €150 range when bookable. Recent guests describe the hammam routine as efficient rather than ceremonial; the massage rooms face onto a planted courtyard, which helps.
Lunch on the terrace is the rest of the afternoon. The grilled fish is reliably good, the mezze plate is large enough to share, and the wine list runs unusually deep on Aegean whites. Bring a book. The Four Seasons does not encourage hurry.
